Gantt Chart
Description
Gantt Chart is a type of Bar Chart used to illustrate plans and activity schedules of any project.
Generally speaking, it is a visual project management tool.
Gantt Charts consist of bars stretched along the time axis. Each bar represents a certain task within the framework of the project in question. The ends of the bars indicate the start and finish times of the corresponding tasks, with length representing duration.
The vertical axis in a Gantt Chart is a list of tasks within a project.
It is possible to enrich such a data visualization with complex tasks, completion rates, indicators of order and dependency, as well as markers of key events (milestones).
