    Donut Chart with Outside Labels

Donut (or Doughnut) Charts are circular charts which have an only series, each point of which is a part of a whole. All values are represented in percent by default. There should be no zero or negative values, as it’s not possible to show them on a donut chart. The hole in the middle of the donut can be used to put labels in there or some other content.

This chart shows the percentage of the ACME Corp. sales done through five different retail channels, each point represents a retail channel. In this chart, we put the labels outside the circle, so you can see all the percent values despite some of the slices are quite narrow (as the values they hold are much smaller than others). This is the way out if you’ve got some points of small values and you can’t avoid showing those values in a Donut Chart. You can manage the chart slices behavior by clicking and hovering themselves or the legend items. If you click on a slice of a pie or its legend item, the slice will become exploded/not exploded, and if you hover them, it will become highlighted.
