Jump Line Chart
Description
Jump Line Chart is a variation of the Line Chart type drawn along the category X axis.
Each data point in Jump Line Charts is visualized as a horizontal line, the length of which equals to the width of the category. The height of such lines above the X axis is determined by the Y value of the corresponding data.
In fact, any Jump Line Chart looks as a set of line segments located at different heights, mostly designed for visually identifying the leaps (or jumps) between data points.
It is worth pointing out that if several points with the same value are situated next to each other in a Jump Line Chart, they are displayed as one single-piece line segment.
