Radar Charts are quite popular in online games, financial statistics, but they can be helpful in every area where we can make a comparison between different entities based on the same params. These charts have two axes, but x-axis is polygonal and vertexes of this polygon are the parameters that were measured and now are being compared.
In this chart we compare three countries – USA, China and Russia, - by eight specific indicators: GDP, GDP Real Growth Rate, Infant Mortality, Life Expectancy, Population, Area, Density and Population Growth Rate. All of them are measured from -0.2 (as the Population Growth Rate in Russia is below 0) to 1; it can be clearly seen which country is best in which position. The Chart has three line series, all colored differently, one stands for a country; eight ticks mean eight indicators. Use legend items to pay more attentions to particular series: hover a legend item to highlight its series and click it to turn off/on its series.
