3D Donut Chart is a simple Donut (Doughnut) Chart with a 3D feature enabled. As 3D charts are becoming more and more popular, our charts have this feature and can be turned from flat into 3D easily, but we warn you that using 3D might affect the perception of information.
Donut Chart is a chart, mostly used for a dataset with less than 8 items, where all items can be arranged in a single row. All data items together form the whole; none of them can be negative, and it’s recommended not to put values much smaller than others, as those slices would not be seen properly.
Here, the 3d Doughnut Chart represents the percentage of the world’s main sources of energy. As we can see from the Donut, almost 80% of them are renewable. All sources are measured in ZJ (ZettaJoule). Each source is a new point, and each is colored differently. You can manage the view of the chart by clicking and hovering the parts or the legend items. If you click on a piece of a pie or its legend item, the piece will become exploded/not exploded, and if you hover them, it will become highlighted.
